Tilta Tiltaing Lightweight Camera Support Kit for Canon C70 (Black)

Protect your Canon C70 camera and add a variety of accessories with this black Full Camera Cage from Tilta. The durable aluminum cage is designed to fit the Canon C70, and the camera mounts onto the cage using a 1/4"-20 anti-twist screw. A lens adapter support is included to mount onto the front of the cage to provide support for the Tilta RF-to-EF-mount lens adapter.

This cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads and a shoe mount for mounting accessories such as a light, monitor, side handle, top handle, or rod support. A NATO rail on the side is compatible with Tilta Type IV and Type VI Side Handles. There is also one ARRI-style rosette on the bottom of the cage to mount an optional handle for vertical shooting or other extension options. The bottom features an Arca-type quick release plate and multiple 1/4"-20 mounting threads for attaching to a tripod, baseplate, or gimbal such as the DJI RS 2.

Add quick release capability and 15mm rod support to your Canon C70 camera with the black 15mm LWS Baseplate Type V from Tilta. The baseplate is compatible with Tilta full cages and allows you to use the camera with a shoulder support or tripod system, or to add 15mm LWS rod support for accessories like a follow focus, a matte box, or a lens motor. It is designed to put the Canon C70 camera at the proper lens height when mounted onto optional 15mm rods.

The dovetail bottom slides onto a separately available Tilta-standard dovetail plate or ARRI-style plate when used with the separately available Tilta to ARRI adapter. The bottom of the baseplate also incorporates several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting a quick release plate. The baseplate is constructed with durable aluminum and stainless steel components.

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
