SmallRig 5541 Overview

Designed for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Mobile Dual Handheld Kit from SmallRig is a professional shooting solution for professional-level video recording, live streaming, and more. This kit includes a phone cage, a phone case, a TPU soft bumper, a rotatable side handle with wireless control, a rotatable side handle, a T-mount lens backplate, and a 17mm lens backplate.

Built using metal, the cage provides shock absorption and scratch resistance. Your phone may be mounted in the cage with or without the case on, and the cage also features multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist threaded holes and cold shoe mounts for attaching accessories that include handles, tripods, microphones, and lights. Furthermore, quick release interfaces allow for user-friendly handheld or tripod setups, while a quick-lock mechanism keeps your phone secure by preventing accidental unlocking and phone ejection. For underwater shooting or high-performance cooling scenarios, the phone can be used without the case by mounting it directly into the cage alongside the TPU soft bumper.

The included side handles attach to the cage using a HawkLock H11 quick release mechanism, which allows for their quick installation and removal. Each handle rotates, which maintains a comfortable grip and smooth operations at most angles; one handle doubles as a wireless remote for one-touch shooting at distances of up to 32.8'.

The T-mount lens backplate supports T-mount lenses and may be swapped out for a 17mm threaded backplate or a 67mm filter adapter, the latter of which is sold separately. Side-mounted strap holes let users attach a wrist strap or other accessory to help prevent accidental drops and falls, while a hollowed-out design retains access to your phone's functions, including its buttons, ports, lenses, and charging interfaces.
