NiSi V6 Pro Starter Filter Kit III with Circular Polarizer Filter

This NiSi V6 Pro Starter Filter Kit includes two filters that can be used individually or in various combinations to improve the results of your photography by preventing overexposure, as well as a circular polarizer to prevent distracting reflections or glare.

To allow these filters to be placed in front of a lens, this kit contains a V6 Pro 100mm Filter Holder that is designed to allow for the convenient use of up to three 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters along with the included circular polarizer.

A padded pouch is included for storage and transport, as well as an air blower, microfiber cleaning cloth, carbon-compound cleaning eraser, and a dust cap that can be used to protect the front surface of the circular polarizer while it is mounted on a lens.

The NiSi V6 Pro 100mm Filter Holder allows for the convenient use of up to three 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters along with an included NiSi 86mm Circular Polarizer Filter. This aluminum alloy filter holder is pre-installed with three pairs of plastic filter slots, a configuration that accommodates three rectangular filters. Each slot is designed to grip an installed filter only along the surface of the filter's edges. Contact with a filter's front or rear-facing surfaces is avoided, particularly when using graduated filters, whose effect can be adjusted to better suit changing lighting conditions or creative demands by sliding them up or down within a filter slot.

The NiSi 86mm Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage. The circular polarizer filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity and features an aluminum alloy filter ring for durability while remaining lightweight.

The NiSi 100 x 150mm Nano Medium-Edge Graduated IRND 0.9 Filter is a rectangular filter that helps to darken specific areas of an image such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a medium-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a medium-edged line of transition can filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. It is particularly useful for images that include elements like rooftops and mountains that protrude into the sky. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and this filter provides up to a 3-stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

The NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter is an ND filter with a 1000x filter factor that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters are intended to not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

The NiSi Four-Filter Soft Case for 100mm Filters is designed to provide a secure and convenient transport and storage solution for any combination of up to four NiSi 100 x 100mm or 100 x 150mm filters. Filters placed within this pouch are each held within one of four nonabrasive slots. They can be easily accessed by opening the pouch's touch-tab fastened front flap.

When photographing with a tripod, a loop along the rear of the NiSi Four-Filter Soft Case for 100mm Filters allows it to be secured to one of the tripod's legs, putting your filters in more immediate reach. This pouch's exterior is woven from canvas for durability.
