These pockets can be used as spaces for a notepad, maps, or snacks; and their zippers, like the zippers for the bottom camera compartment and the top storage compartment, each include a large pull that can be easily gripped. While a stretchable side pocket on the wearer's right side can hold a water bottle; a small tripod or monopod can instead be stored within the side pocket and further secured using the retaining strap located above that pocket.
